The download form to request no further stay waiver
The download form to request no further stay waiver is interactive on the Department’s website and requires you to answer questions which, depending on the answer, will take you to the next relevant question.
What is a No Further Stay condition?
A No Further Stay condition prevents you from applying for many temporary and permanent visas while you are in Australia. These conditions include 8503, 8534, 8535, and 8540. If the Department has imposed a No Further Stay condition on your visa, you can only apply for limited visas to extend your stay, such as a protection visa or a bridging visa.
What information to include with your request for a No further stay waiver
In addition to completing this form, you should provide:
- a certified copy of the personal particulars page of your passport.
- documentary evidence to support your claims for requesting waiver. This evidence can include medical reports.
Documents not in English must be accompanied by NAATI accredited English translations.
Providing as much information as you can to support your request will help to speed up the assessment process. Note: There is no requirement to submit photographs as evidence to claims.
If your visa will soon expire or has expired
Lodging a request to waive condition 8503, 8534, 8535, or 8540 does not automatically allow you to remain lawfully in Australia while the Department decides your request. If your visa expires before the Department can make a decision, you will become unlawful. This has serious consequences. If your visa has already expired, visit a Department office as soon as possible to discuss your immigration status. If the Department finds you, they could detain you and remove you from Australia.

Hi lawyers,
3 year ago I was caught with airport custom with dodge marriage arrangement messages. After that, they won’t let me apply for student and tourist visas. I recently granted my 8503 visa and wonder if I able to switch it to student visa by using Form 1447?
