One of the great benefits of studying in Australia is to achieve the grant of a further visa to allow you to live and work in Australia after your studies are complete. Various criteria apply for the grant of the graduate skilled 485 visa but perhaps the most complicated criterion is the 2-year study rule.
The Department has strict rules which are used to determine whether or not you meet the two-year study requirement. The waters are muddied when considering whether you have received credit for studies completed abroad. It is also tricky depending on whether you are onshore or offshore and whether the course runs for the full academic year as recognised by Australia. If you would like to confirm whether or not you meet the study requirement please contact our office to discuss your eligibility further.

I’d love to know more about your experience applying for this visa subclass!
