In 1976, my parents, two older sisters, younger brother, and I made the courageous decision to migrate to Australia. We arrived on the shores of this beautiful country by boat, at a time when the Australian Labour Party had abandoned the White Australia Policy. It was a transformative experience that ignited my passion for helping others navigate the complexities of immigration and ensure they have a smooth transition into their new lives.
As a young student, I began my education at the local public primary school, diligently making my way there on a bicycle, a Madison 10-speed racer. In an effort to shield myself from schoolyard bullying, I became studious, hoping that academic achievements would provide a shield. However, life had other plans, and I soon realized that true strength lies in resilience and determination.
Following my primary education, I had the privilege of attending Brisbane Grammar School, where I discovered my affinity for mathematics, reluctantly embraced the study of Latin, and even engaged in the rough and tumble world of rugby. These formative years laid the groundwork for my future academic pursuits, leading me to pursue law and accounting at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). At the time, the combined degree program offered by QUT in 1987 was one of the pioneering initiatives in Australia, providing students with a comprehensive education in both fields of study.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to broaden my horizons, I embarked on an exciting adventure in 1990. I crossed the ocean to attend Harvard University, where I completed their prestigious Business Case Study Program. This program served as a solid foundation for the world-renowned MBA curriculum offered by Harvard. The exposure to global perspectives and innovative thinking at Harvard University broadened my understanding of business and sharpened my analytical skills.
Upon my return to Queensland, I immersed myself in further academic pursuits, earning a Bachelor of Business, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. To ensure a comprehensive understanding of international business, I pursued and successfully completed an MBA in International Business. Equipped with this diverse educational background, I was ready to embark on a professional journey that would be solely dedicated to immigration law.

We have 20 years of experience preparing, lodging and appearing in appeals in all these jurisdictions, but also in further appeals resulting from these decisions. Such further appeals are made to the Federal Circuit Court and the Federal Court of Australia.
