Procedures Analyst
Studying organisational structures, methods, systems and procedures used in industrial establishments and other organisations.
2294-13 Organisation and Methods Analyst Skill Level:
A bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least 5 years relevant experience is required. In some instances relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification.
2294-13 Organisation and Methods Analyst Tasks Include:
- undertaking and reviewing work studies by analysing existing or proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures
- recording and analysing organisations' flow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions
- preparing and recommending proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve problems
- assisting in implementing approved recommendations, issuing revised instructions or procedure manuals and drafting other documentation
- assisting and encouraging the development of objectives, strategies and planning aimed at achieving the efficient use of an organisation's resources
- reviewing operating procedures and advises of any departures from procedures and standards
- may be training staff in new work methods
